How JWL Property Valuations collects, uses and protects your personal data.
JWL Property Valuations ("JWL", "we", "us") is an independent property valuation practice operating under PSRA Licence No. 004865, serving clients across the greater Dublin area and Leinster. For the purposes of data protection law, JWL is the data controller of personal data collected through this website. Contact us at hello@jwl.ie or 087 960 4211 with any privacy query.
We collect personal data only where you provide it directly, principally through our enquiry form:
We do not collect payment details through this site, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, provide a fee quotation, arrange an inspection, and carry out the valuation instruction you engage us for. Where you have consented to analytics cookies, we also use anonymised, aggregated data to understand how the site is used. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
We process enquiry data on the basis of your consent when you submit the form, and, where an instruction proceeds, on the basis that processing is necessary to perform the contract for valuation services. We process analytics cookie data only on the basis of your consent, given or withheld through the cookie banner.
Enquiry form submissions are processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service, solely to deliver your enquiry to our inbox. We do not share your data with any other third party, except where required by law, or where a valuation instruction requires us to correspond with a lender, solicitor or other party you have identified as part of that instruction.
We use essential cookies/local storage to remember your cookie choice and to prevent an in-progress enquiry form from being lost. With your consent, we also set anonymous analytics cookies to measure which pages are useful. You can decline analytics cookies at any point, and the site will work exactly the same. You can review or change your choice using the cookie banner shown on your first visit to each browser.
Enquiry submissions are retained by our form provider for up to 30 days, and by us for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry or, where an instruction proceeds, for the period required by our professional and regulatory record-keeping obligations. We delete or anonymise data once it is no longer needed for these purposes.
Under GDPR, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, to object to or restrict our processing of it, and to data portability where applicable. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@jwl.ie. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
We may update this statement from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
